How To Perform Factory Reset From The Dashboard

How To Perform Factory Reset From Safe Mode

If you are have error preventing you from entering settings menu, you can use safe mode method to perform the factory reset. 

  • Firstly, turn your PS4 completely off and hold the power button till you hear two beeps and you will know is on safe mode through the black background.
  • Now, you choose the reset option you need; Restore Default Settings or Initialize PS4 to wipe the hard drive and restore to factory settings while keeping the system software.
