Jamb Profile Registration – How to Create Jamb Profile Online
Are you aware that the JAMB 2020 UTME Registration has commenced? Latest information reaching our news desk today disclosed that all candidates who intend to sit for the forthcoming JAMB 2020 CBT examination, Must create a Profile on the jamb portal.
We have decided to provide you, a walk-through step by step procedures ps of achieving this vital procedure, before the actual jamb registration commences within this month.
It was easier to register for Jamb before; with just a scratch card and few mouse clicks at a cyber café you are good to go. There is new way now to create jamb profile registration, the good thing it is completely free and you do not have to pay any extra charge unlike before.
Jamb Profile Registration – How to Create Jamb Profile
- Sign up for an e-mail verification by visiting the Jamb portal here, use an active e-mail account as important information will be sent to it.
- Fill all spaces as required. Enter you e-mail address, choose a secret question and an answer.
- Click on Verify e-mail.
- Log-in to your email address, be patient until you see an e-mail address confirmation from Jamb. If you cannot find it in your inbox, check the Spam folder.
- Open the mail and click on Click here to continue your Profile Creation
- Do not delete the e-mail as it contains a unique code you will be needing at the CBT centre.
- A new form opens where you are to fill your bio-data and personal information.
- Fill all information as required with the most accurate answers as possible, this is very important.
- Click on Sign Up. Your profile is now successfully created.
- Login to see your new Jamb profile.
How to Create Your JAMB Profile Using Your Mobile Phone Via Text (SMS)
1.
Prospective candidate should send his/her Surname, First Name and
Middle Name (where applicable). This should be maximum of 38 characters +
2 spaces between names = 40 characters in all to JAMB short code of 55019.
2. One cell number (mobile number) can be used by one candidate only.
3. A confirmation code of 10 characters is received by the candidate on
the same telephone number which will be used to procure the ePIN
PROFILE SELF HELP IN CASE OF MISTAKE / LOSS:
To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, resend a text message (from the registered number) “CORRECT Surname First name Middlename” to 55019
To retrieve a lost confirmation code, resend a text message (from the registered number) “RESEND” to 55019.
Please Note:
- If you are to create this profile, it is advisable to do it on Chrome browser using a very good smart phone or computer system.
- Make sure you log in to your profile to ensure there is no mistake before you proceed to get the ePIN. If you made a mistake, you can use the SMS profile self help method above to correct it.
- Ensure to use the same email address used to create your profile to get your ePIN.

After successful payment & obtaining ePIN, candidate should proceed to any of the accredited CBT Centres to complete his/her own registration.
